Pixel Playground

Pixel Playground is an interesting interactive game created by Katchy_Potato on the occasion of Scratch Week with a cute pixel art style, and flexible interaction mechanisms. The game encourages curiosity and experimentation, providing a relaxed yet fun experience. Interact with various elements in the environment, such as creating NPCs, feeding Big Macs, planting flowers, or changing the background color, as if playing in a mini "sandbox."

How to play Pixel Playground

  • Create an NPC character
  • Press "Spawn" to have the NPC appear on the screen.
  • Press "McDonalds" to reveal a Big Mac.
  • Drag the Big Mac and drop it onto the NPC to have the NPC "eat" the food.
  • Please drag the NPC or Big Mac into the trash to remove it from the playground.
  • Click on the grass to plant flowers of your choice.
  • Press "Background" to change the background color, creating a new feeling.

Rules and objectives

There are no fixed rules or time limits; you are free to create, arrange, and interact the way you want. The game acts as a mini simulation model, stimulating the player's creativity and imagination. It does not require complex reflexes or calculations, making it suitable for gentle relaxation.

Tips for effective interaction in Pixel Playground

  • Try creating multiple NPCs at the same time, then feed them continuously to see their funny reactions.
  • Use the flower planting and background changing features to create your own "pixel art."
  • You can build a story, like throwing a McDonald's party for NPCs, then cleaning up the playground with trash cans.
