Terraria is an adventurous land full of mystery and endless possibilities. It was created by Griffpatch from Scratch. Whether you're an action gamer, a master builder, a collector, or an explorer, there's something for everyone in Terraria.

In this game, you have the power to shape, defend, and enjoy the land as your own. There are exciting brand new features like grappling hooks, falling stars, mana and staves, a variety of weapons, gems, and demon altars. You can even encounter the mighty King Slime. Health bars, boomerangs, spears, and the bug net are also part of the experience.

How To Play

Use [WASD] to move.
Click to dig or place items, depending on your tool.
Select tools using the numbers [0 to 9].
Open or close your inventory with [E].
Quickly select torches with [Q] and place them by clicking.
Center the screen on your mouse with [C].
Fire your grappling hook with [X], if you have one.
Reset your location with [R].
Toggle the world map with [F].
Switch to Creative Mode with [K].
Spawn mobs in creative mode for testing using [N], [M], [H], or [J].
Switch your gender with [G].
Toggle the time of day with [O].
Pause the game with [P] and save or load using [S] or [L].
Toggle game music with [U].

When digging, if the mouse is far away from your player, auto dig is enabled to make things easier. During crafting, hold down the mouse over an item to craft multiple quantities before dragging them into your inventory.

Tips for Newbie:

For those new to Terraria, your first tasks are to chop down trees with an axe, craft a workbench, defeat a slime, create torches, and start mining underground for stone and ores. Build a house for the guide, craft a furnace and an anvil, and create new tools. If you're running out of wood, you can plant acorns to grow new trees.
